I bought the Black Diamond ReVolt headlamp for a few key reasons:

  • It is rechargeable
  • Apparently completely waterproof
  • Has 130 lumens
  • Double power red LED

The USB charger plugs straight into the headlamp on the side

The battery indicator is great and means that I can monitor the battery life. So far I have been using the headlamp for approx 5 hours and so far I sill have a lot of battery left. Will update the post when the batteries finally need recharging.

As is standard, you can adjust the position of the lamp easily.

You open the casing to put the batteries in via the bottom by lifting up the clip. It might be just me but man did that take me a while to figure out!

The hinges that hold the two sides together do not appear to be that strong….

The lights are great, it has the main middle light, two white side lights which also flash and two side red lights which flash.

So all in all an excellent headlamp and I am very happy with it.
